You Can Edit in Affine Mobile

I was wrong!

After my initial experience with the new Affine mobile application I finally found out how to enable editing in edgeless mode. Support in Discord answered this for another individual who also questioned why it did not work.

So, I was wrong to say that editing was not possible in the yesterdays post and I have no problems admitting this. But I would like to point out that this core feature was, for some reason unknown to myself and others, disabled by default.

Another question is why is there a setting to enable editing of the edgeless board and why is it in the Experimental Features section of Settings? Most people would expect this to simply work as it does on the desktop. Let’s use “It’s an alpha version.” as an excuse.

Oh well, it is what it is. If you want to enable editing just go to Settings then Experimental Features and switch the toggle to ON.

Now, when in Edgeless mode you’ll see the bottom toolbar and you’ll be able to edit anything on the board.
